New Work

These were made for the 2009 Breaking Traditions exhibit at the American Sewing Expo in Novi, Michigan. this year's theme is "Home," and the entry fee benefits "A Place to Bark." For more info on the show click on the logo in the right hand column. Both pieces measure 12 x 12 inches (and are actually square despite the wonky photos). They're out of the nest now, but here are the baby robins. Mama sat on those eggs for a LONG time, but once they hatched, it was almost no time until they could start to fly.

always hungry.This little guy went exploring and got to the branch above the nest. Perhaps it got crowded in there as the babies got bigger.
