They may look huge right now, but by July, there will be leaves coming out the tops, and the best (real) tomatoes. It's easy to get spoiled when you grow your own.
These have been putting on quite a show for a couple of weeks now, and there's still at least one more flower stalk coming up. The first asiatic lilies are about to open.
Daylily in bloom. For several years now, I have been randomly cross-pollinating anything that is open on a given day and scattering any seeds that result back in the daylily bed. I haven't seen any different flowers yet, but if it happens, it's serendipity, not science.
